About the Project
NowZone set out with a bold vision: get a billion people doing 15 minutes a day of slow, deep breathing at 6 breaths per minute by 2029 — a scientifically-backed practice linked to lower stress, better heart health, and improved mental clarity. Their wearable tracks breath in real time and needed a companion app that could turn raw sensor data into something people would actually use every day.
We partnered with the NowZone team from early concept through launch, building the mobile experience around their Track → Trigger → Train → Transform loop: the app monitors breath and mood in real time, alerts users the moment a stress spike is detected, guides them through a one-minute slow breathing exercise, and shows simple progress over time — all wrapped in a calm, wellness-first interface built for a non-technical, health-conscious audience.
